Sustainable Home & Garden is proud to be a local business right in the heart of Sussex.

We offer a wide range of services - check out our services page for more info! We work mainly across East & West Sussex but do also work across the South East.

We sell home-grown local plants including herbs, roses, shrubs, veggies and tonnes more! Our plants are grown in recycled containers, organic compost - produced from vegetable peelings etc. then they are bagged using recycled and recyclable paper bags!

"Luke provided me with a lovely choice of plants from his stall at the Duck Fayre. The geraniums have over overwintered and are still flowering deep red flowers. The herb garden of sage, marjoram, mint and parsley are still thriving in the container on my balcony. I was even able to take cuttings from the geraniums which have rooted as the plants were so strong and healthy. I was provided 4 different varieties with lovely leaves that look lovely in the hanging baskets. Looking forward to a new spring collection."

Very happy with the quality of Home & Gardens decorating skills. Great care was taken of my home and furnishings. Very polite, friendly trio of men so the decorating was completed very speedily. Very happy to recommend them.
Very happy with the job done by Luke and Rob. Transparent with pricing from the start. They also made it easy for us as we were not sure about extra parts we needed for a variety of jobs we asked them to do but they sorted it all for us. Efficient and friendly throughout. A little overdue with posting my review but Luke and Rob have constructed a couple of flat packs for me. They were very professional and friendly. Arrived on time, excellent work and left everything tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Luke and Rob came to deliver a super king bed, taking away my old one. I live in a 4 floor terrace house, with my bedroom on the top floor and some difficult stairs. Without them, this would not have been achieved. The Mattress was delivered by a different company and were unhappy with where the mattress needed to go (top floor), potentially having it left on the bottom floor for us to resolve. Luke and Rob went beyond to support all involved in getting the 60kg Mattress to the bedroom and setting it up. They removed and put back pictures, they hoovered, they did everything you could imagine to make a stressful event, seem pain free. They even kept my dog entertained. We will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. In fact, I would strongly suggest you do. We have certainly kept their number. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would be doing so.
Fast, reliable and great service - thank you Rob and Luke. They put together our bed very quickly and even helped us with a small plumbing issue at no extra cost.
I used Sustainable Home & Garden in July to take care of some major pruning and rubbish removal. They were communicative, prompt and polite. I found Luke and Rob to be lovely and very helpful. Luke and Rob did an amazing job creating our pond. We had a vague idea of what we wanted, but gave them pretty much free reign over the final design of the project. They consulted us at every step, offering us choices of materials and were incredibly friendly and professional throughout. The finished product is stunning and we love it. Highly recommended.
Luke and Rob did a brilliant job installing my wardrobes, they were friendly and helpful and went out of their way when my first lot of wardrobes were delivered with wrong items. I would certainly recommend them and will use them again Thank you all for a brilliant job well done
The guys were absolutely fantastic when we used them to assemble my daughters new bed and our new beds (2 seperate jobs). Communication was quick and we were kept well informed of arrival times. My daughter's bed was a mission, as so complex, but they persevered with a professional and positive attitude and even though it took longer than expected due to the complexity, I was still charged the original quote so excellent transparency. All jobs were completed to a high standard and they went above and beyond, even moving our old bed out and into my son's room - so so helpful. The guys were really polite, professional, friendly and super hardworking. They are really reasonably priced for such a good standard of work - an excellent service and I'd highly recommend them.

Rob is amazing! I bought a second hand tv bed and disappointedly the electrics were broken and the bed listed was not the correct bed. Rob managed to find my bed and was able to conference me in with the manufacturers to order parts! After a week of searching for the brand and model of the bed and much frustration Rob saved the day!! Would highly recommend using Rob and Luke such a wide range of services they are able to offer.
I ordered some plants and was happy that they are good quality and very reasonably priced. The company is very local too as an added bonus and collects coffee and tetrapaks that are recycled as plant pots. I will definitely use this business again.
Luke and Rob did a fantastic job of tidying up the bamboo in the garden. Not only did they cut the bamboo hedge really well but cleared up all the dead leaves at the base, which after winter was a lot. The garden now looks neat and tidy now. Thanks so much.
